How tf do i fix this guy?

so hear this, this guy is by far the most self conscious person i know and probably will ever meet.

This guy no matter where he's going, will look at himself in the mirror for a good 10 minutes. 5 in the bathroom, then 5 in another mirror. Its driving me insane. The thing is he's going nowhere important sometimes, sometimes he isn't even gonna get out of the car. And when we do get in the car, he spends another 2-3 minutes looking at himself from the passenger mirror again.

Its really pissing me off and it isn't natural. Idk who changed him or how this happened, but it needs to go. A guy shouldn't be this self conscious, not even some girls are this self conscious. Generally people with bad confidence are self conscious but this guy is always bragging about his looks and how he's so good looking.
He's insecure tho i can tell and i can tell his confidence isn't as good as he thinks it is, no other explanation for him being this way.

Sometimes were chilling at home and we decide to go somewhere, nowhere important tho, to buy food or something, and hell change his shirt or something when nothing was wrong with what he had on before. What gets me mad the most tho is that he denies it when i tell him he's self conscious/shy. Like how tf can you deny it

Like this shyt is crazy, one time he wanted chipotle but he didnt wanna go into chipotle because it was a friday and people from his school might've been there and he didnt want them to see him alone. This is a new level of self conscious, needs a new word. I keep trying to teach him and tell him that how he is isn't right and its a guy shouldn't be like that, he's extremely stubborn. What needs to happen is somebody else like my cousin or something needs to tell him for him to realize how bad it is.
