I took it and got it read and it was a a Camshaft Position Sensor. I was going to get it fixed this weekend because it seemed like a pain in the ass to do myself and yesterday the check engine light went off and hasnt been back since

what should i do about this? my car never drove any different and it seemed like a simple problem but now can i ignore i ever saw the light and go on with my business?

camshaft sensor is <10 min job. do it yourself.

It'll go on and off until the sensor completely goes out. Once the sensor goes your car might drive a little rougher.

Had the same issue bout 6 months ago. Get that shyt replace. Your will just shut off in the middle of acceleration in the middle of the fukking highway. Price check for the part. My shyt went as high as $157 but got it for $52. Labor was a bytch (price-wise), so if you can install yourself then do it.
