fast forward to today...i found homie on FB...son is a full fledged crip...flashin guns on his page and sellin criminal amounts of weed on his page....

I know gang influence is heavy everywhere....but is it really "join a gang or die" when u move to certain parts of Cali?...

my last memory of him was bein a good kid lookin for the come up the right way...I def don't know this dude anymore....won't even hold a convo longer than "whats good..." with him....

Since y'all were so close as kids, do you know what the deal with his father? You didn't mention him.

west coast Gangs have been pretty active in metro nyc area since mid 90s....so I think your man might have been somewhat aware of what it was even back when you were kids here.

If he was in the foster system out here..he already had to put on that hard armor to keep from being a victim. He goes out to Cali and it's the same thing......new guy has to show people that he's not playing games and he becomes super crip.
