i hit up the martial arts gym 2 to 3 times a gym, lift maybe 2 times if that, dont have any competitions soon myself for another few months so im more casual with my training since getting my blue belt. closer to spring n summer imma def pick up the pace though so I can be competition ready:wow:

Was lifting 6 days a week… knocking it down to 4 again. 6 seems inefficient and not getting the return on effort. Maybe it’s the lack of resting days. I was doing A push pull legs split… But I’m going back to an upper lower split

how do yall get addicted to the gym? That shyt feels like a chore to me.
I like challenging myself physically plus I like looking good especially since I'm 40 now. Plus the health benefits and knowing that I'm in better shape than a lot guys who are younger than me :blessed:.

when you start seeing gains in strength and your body slowly transforming, you want to keep going. shyt is like crack. Plus the feel good hormones that get released after a hard workout. Coming out the gym feeling good and having all the confidence in the world.

If it feels like a chore to you, you need to switch up your routine.
