I have no idea what it means when a thread goes plat.

I only congratulate people on their thread going plat because the words "plat thread" together sounds like I'm talking with a lisp in my head, which cracks me up for some reason (I'm easily amused).


This only came to mind because I was looking at some threads and I realized I couldn't figure out if they were plat or not.
