last musical I watched was Mary poppins returns, 30 minutes could be cut out that mug, we didn't need the street/chimney sweepers

Like a lot of people I bought the cd (way back in 2016) kept it in my car cd changer for a few months and then kind of left it at that. My brother and his wife got to see the traveling show and loved it.
I just started streaming it and I was really blown away at the staging on this. It is finally good to put the song - and face - to the characters. I also didn't know that a few of the actors had doubled their roles in the production.
I really enjoyed it.
I wish I could have seen the original show live but for two tickets and a trip to NYC I could have probably gotten my car engine rebuilt. Lol.

I’ve seen Off-Broadway shows in Atlanta and Chicago, each amazing in different ways. And now seeing the OG cast in HD HDR10 
I was supposed to take my wife and daughter to watch it at the Fox in Atlanta this year, but the show was postponed twice due to COVID-19. So it’ll be Sept 2021 unless Americans continue to act irresponsibly.

I did theatre in Highscool so it'll always have a soft spot in my heart.
But I finally got around to watching Hamilton for the 1st time 3 or 4 months ago... a the bootleg of the show with the original cast wad randomly suggested to me on youtube. Watched the whole show beginning to end about 3 times that night.
I was as hyped for the Disney plus version as I was for the last 2 Avenger movies. Made my girl watch it and everything.
The opening number intrigued me but when Laurens and co was introduced rapping over a table beat on some lunch at svhool shyt I was won over instantly. Like they were actually spitting in this motherfukker.
And my theatre background helped me appreciate the non hiphop parts as well.
Easily my fav play and what ultimately made me purchase Disney + before the MCU shows dropped.
