I'm getting sick of these rappers who can't really rap, like rnb singers who don't really sing. There's obviously a lane and a market for that but that lane is starting to flood. The amount of rappers who can actually rap nowadays is tiny and its embarrassing and annoying too when its like you're not a rapper so don't advertise yourself as such, because you don't rap.

I actually hear you on this, I just think this song is a good turn up record.

shyt sounds horrible, sounds like a female version lil reese... I'm literally trying to figure out what part of the song supposed to be good. Beat is okay, the Hook is trash and the verses are worse

Songs like this make me embarrassed to say I like rap music in 2016

Be safe tho

I agree, the song serves its purpose and serves it well. But there's just too much of this out right now and not enough rapping, to the point where it's like ok we got Thugga, Desiigner, Rae Sremmurd, RHQ, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Kodak Black, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Shy Glizzy, Soundcloud rapper #1, Soundcloud rapper #2, local artist #1, local artist #2, Youtube viral rapper #1, Youtube viral rapper #2, etc. etc. But where are the actual rappers?? This type of music isn't gonna stay timeless and also is not gonna protect the artform and culture

Honestly if there isn't a change soon the game might see a 2006/2007 Soulja Boy-like shift again where nobody wants to rap, just harmonize and do lazy flows and lazy bars

I wish I could rep you, didn't expect this thread to turn like this but this is a QUALITY post.

There are plenty artists making lyrical hip hop, they just don't have doors opened for them like a Uzi Vert or a 21 savage type rapper does. I think a lot of up and coming artists know that, so they're tailoring their sounds to what they think is gonna get them the furthered.

Dumb it down to double the dollars to roughly quote Hov.
