Is my math not adding up or does YouTube pay waaaay better than I am predicting.

How do these folks get to have a fleet of expensive cars and still live in expensive cities?
I was looking at social blade and it was saying “tall guy car reviews” made a maximum of $189k last year.

Let’s do the math:

If we give him $200k including merchandise that he sells.....That’s about $10,400 per month after taxes

He once said he leases all of his cars for $5600/month

Rent has to be over $3000 since he lives in a luxury apartment next to the staple center

we haven’t calculated gas, insurance, car modifications, traveling, food, clothes, entertainment, etc.

Explain this to me......it’s either someone has barely any savings or ......

There's probably a whole lot of fraud involved ie falsify income on car loan application.

Could be carrying a ton of debt and just paying the minimum, as well as writing off business losses (which can be a lot) come tax time.

Basically a house of cards - faking it till their popularity and income generated rises to the point of covering their bills. Bankruptcy if shyt becomes untenable.

It's the American way :yeshrug:

Some of those youtubers have over one million subscribers and constantly get 2 million + views per video. Hoovie, Doug Demario, tavarish they are eating all are full time youtubers.

I'm willing to bet most those cars are leased. I follow a lot of car channels and they don't have 250k subscribers let along 1 million. Come up with $3000-$4000 and you can lease something like a Redeye Hellcat for $750/month. Or you can live cheap and have a $1100 car note and their YouTube channel may be bringing in just enough to cover it. Hell, if your channel brings in $600/month that's doable.

but you can’t say that about all of them. Look at Vehicle Virgin. He said he never leases only finances.
cars in his collection; brand new rolls Royce cullinan, Wraith, Supra, Mclaren 600lt, maybach and he has a multimillion mansion.

Also, he was trying to get a mclaren P1 but the bank asked for 50% deposit

The channels with 1 million subscribers I understand. I'm talking about those with 100,000 subscribers but got $90,000 in car. SRTbree got a Trackhawk and Red-eye with only 80k subscribers.

Used Hellcats are pretty cheap, like 48k. Put down 5 stacks, stretch the loan for 72 months + $500 in YouTube money so it's doable
