Funny enough, went through the same thing with my fiance. This was before we got engaged. We lived about 100km apart for most of our relationship, saw each other once a week or so. I didn't start beating off till I was roughly 20 which was about a year before we got together. Anywho, she was aware I had porn and all that but didn't care. When she realized I was rubbing out on the regular she eventually got pissed by it mainly because it was affecting my performance (ie: time to bust) when I'd be physically with her. She considered it cheating like your girl did as she felt I was getting off on other women (which technically I was) but I told her it was more the act and envisioning us doing the same (which technically was true also). I explained to her why I do it, which really just relaxes me, especially before bed - or after a frustrating day. She didn't buy it. Eventually she talked to her GFs about this. Alot of them gave her the and told her that they all rather their BFs do that than attempt to go out and get the real thing.

She came back and said it was cool as long as I didn't beat of to girls that were the same race as her and now that we're about to start living together that she knows there will be days that she wont be in the mood and is cool if I do it as long as she ain't around.

Bottom line is try to make light of the situation. Re-assure her why you do it, but be ready to drop doing it if she still doesn't accept it. Don't lie though and do it cause girls are good at knowing if you're still beating off based off your "performances."
