Question for yall as a hypothetical because this happened to me once.

What if you met a girl that loved video games. But just not the type of games you are into?
Example, i dated this gamer chick once. She like stuff like Fortnite fighting games like street fighter, Mortal Kombat.

Me i like games like 2k, and jrpgs like Final Fantasy 7 remake, God of War.

Now i can play Mortal Kombat and have fun, in fact i was still good enough at it to beat her
but it still wasn't quite the same. After a while i forcing myself to play games i wasn't enjoying. Sort've ruined the fantasy for me.

What i ended up doing was just expanded my interest in games. Turns out i can enjoy them if i give myself enough time to become invested. Just need break the barrier of entry.
But we didn't end up working out anyway.
