Thr is no benefit of marriage. U can still have family without marriage. People get married to a please others and not look bad.

The benefit is....that if someone walks away, there are outside forces (legal entities and prenuptial agreements) to protect those involved and hold people accountable to a commitment

Bf/gf can just up and walk away. ...no further discussion needed

If you're dating a woman, sharing a spot, got a kid and you woke up one day to a text message that said "I'm out"....there isn't anything you can do about it....but be very mad

If you two were married you could sue her for abandonment, legally request spousal support, if you drafted a prenup you could enact whatever terms you had in there, and request child support....(if you actually get the payments is another story)....but as a spouse you have the option

like how does that constitute "a goal"? There were even mentioned to pre-planned suicides by a certain age to avoid the later years (60+) in life alone as a subscriber to #GMB soo.....needs some retooling no?

Anyway I also stated equating worth and marriage was unhealthy for both genders. ...but within society as a whole the women are judged more harshly for it and at much earlier ages..... and maybe marriage is just too hard. ...for you.

And if you do have kids...why wouldn't they resent you for the way you treat their mother?

But on the subject of marriage...it does put a lot of pressure on both sexes and maybe in unequal ways....but what good does it do us to have our parents show us by example that we don't deserve it and shouldn't expect it? How does that help?

That's the definition of hustling backwards since the mom is the custodial parent by default and has you by the balls for the next 20+ years.....with none of the financial benefits of being married

People act like getting married has no benefits but the tax benefits alone worth it if you having kids or staying with the same chick forever
It varies obviously but my after tax check went up $600 a month just cause my status changed

But I wanna adopt some kids when I get a some paper so I can provide them a chance in life...and I ain't leaving them shyt...if they don't work for it
