Nah. If you're living with your partner you should have already established trust. If he trusts her intentions and loyalty, he shouldn't have to worry.
Thats what it SHOULD be like. But we know how we are as humans. There will always be that little bit of doubt. So thats what i shrug at statements like your initial one.

Trust is about choosing to ignore that little shred of doubt and believing your partners intentions (assuming they're actually a decent human being tho). I promise you, a relationship is much more smoother and healthier when you've reached a point where you understand the type of person your partner is and believe they'd make a smart judgement call in the event that a now-neighbor-ex (:rudy:)pops over while you're at work to say "hi" or some shyt. If that little shred of doubt is still too loud for you in that situation, talk about it.


I don't get why someone would stick around in a relationship if they've got to live day-by-day wondering if their partner is loyal, at any point. That isn't comfortable.
