My laptop overheats? And shuts itself off every 4 minutes

It's so frustrating. It just makes a click sound and shuts down. I can't stay on my laptop for more than 5 minutes. Can't watch any videos because that just makes it shut off quicker.

get yourself a desktop anything goes wrong you can repair it yourself cheaply

My old HP laptop did that kind of, it was a battery problem. At first I just couldn't unplug the charger or it would die instantly but then it evolved to where I had to have the charger at a certain position for it to not die and then it just got to the point where it could barely start. After that I just bought a new laptop, got Lenovo and it's pretty nice

I tried to start my old laptop the other day and it took like 30 minutes to get the charger at the right angle lol

I can hear the fans working. I paid to get this fixed before and then a couple of weeks later I get the same problem.
