Gotdamnit. My 19 year old cousin is in the middle of her freshman year, and she has a full scholarship to a good school, but I just found out she's pregnant.
She came from a somewhat rough background: she doesn't really know her biological dad, her stepdad just got locked up for selling drugs, her older sister became a teenage mother a few years back, and her younger sister dresses like Rihanna. Her mom is supportive though.
She has some shythead boyfriend who joined the Coast Guard over the summer to try and turn his life around, and apparently my cousin was considering rejecting her scholarship to get married to this clown.

Thankfully her grandmother put an end to that nonsense real quick. I'm not sure if she is pregnant by him or by some dude on campus. I told her to cut down on partying until she improves her grades (she's been struggling a little bit academically) but I texted her last week and she was on her way to a Que party.

Me and her aren't the closest of cousins since we live in different cities but I am stunned right now. I'm 100% confident that I'll be a great dad when I decide to have kids, but I'm terrified of raising a daughter in this world.
