my mother went to the hospital yesterday and the docs don't know what's wrong with her and I'm really worried

Best thing was for her to get out the spital, because they will pump her with drugs until she dies

My girls grandma went in because she’s old with dementia and tried to attack my girls mom…she was physically normal when she left, now she’s laid up in the spital and a cpl days ago looking like she was on her way out

They dope her up because she’s combative, and they said with her mental condition if she keeps getting the medicine, she’ll eventually forget to swallow correctly, get pneumonia and die

Great news !! I was at my cousin's this evening, my brother picks me up, and takes me to their crib, and my mother is waiting in the living room smiling !

Basically the docs said she has heart irregularities and the speed fluctuates too much, so they decided to check her arteries soon to see if theirs blockage which could require surgery, but not major to my knowledge

she has follow ups but the good news is she was able to go home, and she was herself mentally and physically

I would like to thank everyone in TheColi for the love, prayers and support

I'm going to eventually go back home and get some rest, but I just wanted to thank everyone now

once I post more frequently again, I'm going to try be the most based poster on TheColi, straight up positivity


edit...I was mainly worried because she had Covid this summer, has always had high blood pressure despite blood pressure pills, and she's up there in age, she's 71, I'm an semi old head myself, my "little brother" is 31

the scariest part to me is forgetting how to swallow food and so forth, and you're right, the hospital may have given heard too many meds, she only takes her few perceptions by as directed, heck she won't even take two Aspirin lol

she doesn't drink or smoke or anything, the only thing she does is drink coffee in the morning

I'm just happy she's home, I was supposed to be going back to my place, but me and my brother had a great conversation, I was just blessed all around today and I'm sincerely grateful and happy

Yea you take somebody who won’t take multiple Tylenol and pump them full of narcotics, it’s gonna fukk them up

Just make sure to monitor her and keep her as comfortable as possible until she gets better

I remember Berner said he found out that he had cancer thru this blood test that he took they they normally don’t give…so make sure she gets all the testing she can done so y’all can figure out the issue

That is wonderful news breh. The power of prayer is strong, and it really made me feel good to read that just now. God is good breh. We a family here man. I cant speak for everyone, but personally i got way more love for yall than a lot of the fake, grimy self centered muhfukkas ive had to deal with in the course of my rl. And its not even close. We keep it a buck with eachother, pull no punches, but its all in love. Like a family we just want to see each other be our best selves and live our best lives(no hoe babble). We get to come here for a minute each day and leave the stresses of daily life on hold while we chop it up and get our on. Seriously, yall dont know but yall have seen me through some seriously turbulent real life shyt yallselves and somehow managed to help me lmbao through so much chaos. Helped me keep my mental straight even in my darkest hours.

I can break down the best vitamin brands, some healthy but still recipes and cooking tips to help ma dukes still enjoy her meals even without all that sodium and grease, and even how to best still have herself a little treat now and then(whats the point of living to be 100 if u cant live it to the fullest right?)

Like I said, my mother went to the hospital yesterday and the docs don't know what's wrong with her and they don't know when they will release her and I'm extremely worried about her.

I consider TheColi my digital family, and I was wondering despite whatever religion or spiritual practice you prescribe to, it would he greatly appreciated if you can send my mother some prayers or positive energy, even if it's a 10 second prayer or vibes because I'm worried she might die and I love her dearly.

the hospital is not allowing her any visitors so I can't go see her and her cell phone is acting up.
