What are some good natural hair sites to get ideas on styling hair other than YouTube?
What are some good communities?

Also my hair has become extremely dry no matter how much product I use.
There are some brands that I have discovered to work some what but are way too expensive to keep buying. In my opinion

Anyone know some natural things I can do to help?

I just bought coconut oil....
I should add that I'm transitioning and it's been a yr.

I mainly use Aloe vera juice and water in a spray bottle, followed by coconut oil and Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner to moisturize my hair.

What's does your hair look like? Wavy, curly, coily, kinky?
Find out your porosity, and if you are protein sensitive.

I wash my hair once a week. I always deep condition, detangle and air dry my hair.

If I flat iron my hair it's not dry if I don't it gets dry as hell.

I use leave in conditioner during the week.

Each of the products that work are like $15+ a piece for each line of the system. And these aren't big containers either.

My hair is wavy and very thick. It straightens out kinda fast. The very back where the nape is seems more thick.

I was at one point sealing my hair at night with coconut oil. I would spray it with water and then put the oil on and tie it in a bun. It helped with dryness a lot.

this is going to sound bad but u r washing ur hair too often and not conditioning enough. when I wear my natural hair I condition in the place of a wash. I only wash my hair once a month. I also use very little product. I condition twice a week. I have damaged hair due to bleaching. the products that work fot me are cantu line herbal essence totally twisted and organix.

Whats your diet like? That impacts your hair or try fish oil supplements.

As far as products go, its completely trial and error. My staples are shea moisture shampoo (the golden label), coconut oil or olive oil.

Do an apple cider vinegar and water rinse and wash with shampoo every other week and co-wash in between weeks.

Hmmm up just the other day I seen a video about how people are replacing their shampoo with conditioner.

So I should swamp them out.
