Not necessarily. I just show respect since I've been knowing him since I was a kid. He wasn't always like this. The way his personality has changed through the years is shocking and sad honestly. This dude is pretty close to crossing a line with me and I may have to knock some sense into his skull if or when he starts disrespecting me or my kid. He gets along with me because "I'm different" and not like other black people. He wasn't always like this. We've known him for years and he's always close to our family. Before Trump he was a pretty reasonable person albiet a bit annyoing and crazy with his belief in certain conspiracy theories. Now that he has gotten older he has gone full c00n and has recently started verbalizing his self hatred. I'll give you a quick rundown of this dude.


Hates black people even he is black himself
Favors his biracial grand children over his black grand children
Trump fanatic
Constantly saying slick and dehumanizing shyt about dark skin black people

He hasn't said anything disrespectful to me yet but if does I'm going knock his old ass out. I want to call him a c00n to his face and tell him to stop speaking to me and my family.

Am I taking this too far or should I just maintain the peace?

Why do people post on the internet instead of dealing with their real life problems? I don't get it.

Right-wing radicalization is a serious problem in this country. Lots of folks, including black people, are caught up in the Trump wave. shyts depressing as fukk. A divided country can't persist for long, eventually something has to give. Here are possible solutions:

1) Minimize your interaction with him: I've lived next to my neighbors for 10+ years and I barely know them. Most people just keep to themselves around here. Maybe it's a New York thing.

2) Reason with him: You said you've known him for years and that he used to be a family friend. Maybe you can get through to him and 'deprogram' the Trump cult shyt out of him. In fact, there's a whole community of people who deal with this situation: Reddit - Dive into anything

3) Move.

4) Plant illegal narcotics in his vehicle and call the cops on him: Why would I suggest this? Well, those black Trump supporters need that 'nikka wake up call'. Perhaps if they dealt with overly aggressive racist cops it would be the proverbial 'shock to the system' that they needed.
