I think it's a jail beef, based on racial tension between latinos and blacks... Latinos having the more organized street gang Latin Kings and blacks uniting under Blood to protect themselves from the LKs attacks in jail. Think they formed an alliance later under the 5.

LKs is one of the most old, feared and respected gangs throughout the whole city and nearby suburbs. Bloods started poppin' everywhere from the late 90's to mid 2000's. I remember in high school (back in 2002-2006) everybody black was either turning blood or crip, even if they had previous gang affiliation such as Zulu Nation, Lost Boy and even the G-Unit gang that formed in Jamaica Queens in the early 2000's. So you had a gang of LBs made up by a bunch of crips and bloods. It was a whole lotta fukkery going on back then. But most of these nikkaz turned gangsters was p*ssy anyway... When the Kings came thru everybody always showed respect. And no, I ain't a LK or none of that.

I never forget I had on a Sac Kings jersey on, nypd pulled my cousins car over on dykman and harassed me about being a Latin king and the crown that was on the jersey..

This was like 2002.. Cops thought everyone was bangin.. Never had one problem w/ LK tho, growing up in Washington Jects, in Spanish Harlem there wasn't any animosity between blacks and Spanish people

I'm still kinda dumbfounded by grown men still gangbanging though. I get it while you are in your teens but unless you a lifelong criminal or prison inmate shyt is so stupid. I got 3 family members who were banging past the age of 21. 2 of them are still in prison and the other one got out 3 years ago and actually turned his life around.

Wasnt no blood vs crip thing. It was more of a Black Vs Latino thing. That was way back tho. I was in like the 7th grade. Used to be huge brawls and fights after school every day. Almost got jumped by like 20 ese's one time

It's a fukking fact the beef started on Rikers Island with slashing of LK members as means of initiation when the Bloods first formed on Rikers.

Now if me clarifying that I am not in a gang and this aint the place to discuss gang shyt makes me corny in your eyes
