So my ol lady is closing on a home this week. We just made it official and I’m trying to find a gift as well as something to do the day of. I was thinking lunch somewhere, probably ramen.

Mind you she makes damn near 6 figures :yeshrug:so she’s more so interested that I put in effort out here. I seen one of them 5ft vertical WELCOME signs on Amazon for 50 bucks. Anyone have any ideas I’m a horrible gift giver

Dualit sells toasters for like $200.

As far as I know, they work exactly like a $30 toaster. But it’s a fancy name brand.

I’ll look into that. She has to furnish the whole place, so something practical may be the best bet. Maybe a towel set?

homeowners need actual useful stuff lol. the welcome sign is a nice gesture, do the dimensions go with her welcome area?
that's something you gotta think about with decor... spacing
I’ll probably see it once before we celebrate. Haven’t really thought about porch dimensions. I think she just wants something at least semi thought out from me lol. I’m not the best gift giver, I was thinking take her to a restaurant and a small gift showing my appreciation. She’s my woman but she knows I’m working with limited resources

aww that's real sweet.
plants are another affordable housekeeping must. it would be great if you planted it yourself but i understand timing.
i'm about to inherit dozens of plants. i can't wait to have my shyt looking like a botanical garden :wow:

I’m dead ass serious. I gifted pens to a bunch of people going to closing lol. It’s a lot.

I don’t see a woman wanting help with decor.

I bet the average coli female hasn’t decorated shyt in her house. A bunch of bare walls and a coffee table. Maybe.

A lot of people could use decor help.
