I did and it seems as if it's a witch hunt and you could tell the agenda from the very beginning by the coded language they were using. The facts are the dude was never convicted of anything. So the only thing I can judge him on is the aliyah stuff and I think we all know that she wasn't the only dude she messed around with before she was 18. However rest in peace to her in hindsight she lived fast and died way before her time.
Now the stuff with the video I recall seeing the video when I was a lot younger and nothing about the girl in that video made me think barely legal..So I don't know if she was or wasn't legal seeing as how she said it wasn't her, the parents said it wasn't her and no one could prove it was her. But she is the only one I feel personnel sorrow for. But even than it's more to that story.
Ok so I'll keep it 100. Kells is obviously skating the legality line with some of these girls as many were of the age of legal consent but when I say that I mean just barely type of shyt.
Ok so let me talk about some of these survivors. You have DJ Kitty Kat Jones from Dallas. She is like 34 when she met R Kelly worked in the industry and was a acting like she didn't know what was up. She was with him for multiple years in what I can only call a polygamous relationship. She also stated that she saw the girl from the video. If this is sparkles neice she is clearly in her 20s during this time. She also said she mastered her escape from the cult by simply calling a cab and going to the airport...she stated she attempted to call Kelly and would of went back if he simply answered the phone.
Than you have this 35 year old at the time think her name is shea or some shyt. She was grown as all hell with kids but managed to find her way into the house yet was still able to provide and parent her children who lived elsewhere. A recent clip of her daughter talking about her has been released she also owns an HVAC company in GA.
Than you have this lisa chuck she met him at 17. And was with him for 7-8 years and admits that she had sex with a 14 year old being involved in threesomes with Kelly...she also slept with the alleged girl. And seemed upset that they had relations without her. I think she is the one responsible for the tape being leaked. She is now a writer and public speaker. But to me she is also a criminal like Kells.
You had this Latina who was like 17 and was with him for a minute she even said she was looking for a come up to get her career popping.
You have this kyla pratt chick who showed up to the trial and admitted to lying about her age and telling him she was 19...its sad but I laughed it seems as if she caught his ass like a fisherman and brought him in.
She was with him for a grip and also recruited another girl to the crew.
The other girl she recruited is the one who supposedly escaped with her mother she was 17 and has been with him for years now. She's the one that dresses like a dude...I have this strange filling that maybe she chose that lifestyle on her own. She seemingly comes and goes from the cult as she pleases. I mean she was staying up in the hotel and has been seen out and about.
The other chuck is Joycelon who is to me the baddest one. Once again legal age. She's the one that is all over TMZ being called a brainwashed sex slave. But she also keeps telling her family to back off and telling people she is ok. Police conduct wellness checks and no signs of abuse or anything.
Sparkles neice the alleged rumors are that she is still with him and may possibly be the trainer of the others.
So after looking at the cast of characters they had every last chick they had on that show had some type of agenda they were pushing either a book, song, speaking gigs etc. They however say they didn't profit from the documentary but I now see they are making the talk show circuit rounds and you know they get paid for that.
The issue with this R Kelly shyt is I can't prove not a damn thing for fact other than he married aliyah. I do not view the survivors as surviving anything and think alot of this is sensationalized rhetoric. They named the show surviving r Kelly like he was a serial killer.
The parents strike me as odd except for joycelyns parents...she made her decision on her own free will they just aren't happy with it...The other parents daughter made her own decision and even went to her high school graduation and quit messing with them when she turned 18 but seems to also be able to come and go as she wants.
I'm not saying R Kelly is innocent but I am saying that these girls aren't victims like we think and may be extremely vindictive and upset that either he isn't paying them anymore or they aren't welcome in the house or something. But its three sides to this story but people are riding with one side.
What I didn't like about this show was how they set the women up to look weak minded and unaware. They played up the whole victim mindset. Seems to me to totally go against everything modern society has told us in regards to sexual the women have no blame at all in any of this and are being victimized by a man. Who in all honesty likely has stunted mental maturity (reading issues identified at an early age, history of being abused). Has it ever crossed people's mind that he may be a musical savant but suffer a learning/emotional disability he signed a horrible contract musically so he likely doesn't make income from that.
Last thing I'll touch on it seems very odd to me that he has had people like K Michelle, Nivea, keke palmer, and Selena Johnson, Jennifer Hudson who all stayed with him and were mentored by him but he didn't sexually assault or abuse or should I say they didn't need to survive him.
Has it crossed people's minds that maybe the women are making their own choice to stay there and are content even happy? Why can't they be strong minded and own their sexuality.
One moment I'm inundated with equality, women shouldn't be shamed for being sluts, own your sexuality take...and than I see how one dude is controlling a whole house full of women being abused and held hostage who somehow possess the ability to just leave. It hasn't crossed anyone's mind that dude literally may just have a black version of the playboy bunny ranch or that the women may be content living with him.
That those not excuse him from being a statutory rapist but as far as I can tell the only thing we can prove is he married aliyah and that he was married and had multiple other women living with him yet his wife supposedly didn't know and it was the same house.
