So we pulled our son outta school since 2020 due to COVID and we did homeschooling. He was fine and really advanced quickly and all was fine. The teachers and the whole system were supportive and helped us figure and set thing up. Never any issues.

However this year the tune changed, the principal called us several times and kept asking if I’m still traveling and how the newborn was doing. One day she insisted that we sent him to school cuz he is more active and was very liked by his peers. I told her once they come with a safe way for kids to learn I would not mind. She then said we have to listen to Desantis and do what’s best for the kids. I went on her Facebook page and yeap her whole friends are big Trump supporters.


We took him to school and only some black kids had on a mask. No social distancing. Nothing.

I brought up all concerns and she thought I was exaggerating and he should be fine as they barely had any cases.

Day 2 I received a call that some kid had an emergency and had to be taken to the hospital. They then found out it was COVID. She called me to tell me “Just quarantine him for now but he should be fine”.

Of course he caught COVID and I asked her if they had any resources. Of course they had none.


Check this out though. No testing centers in the whole county. All been shut down. Desantis limited the amount of boosters we get here in the state and the amount of vaccines too. Like if you think you have COVID there’s no way to test unless you want wanna wait for 2 weeks or go to the hospital for it.


Anyway we’re all doing better now and I just wanted to tell y’all I’m vaccinated and this virus did not hit me as bad as it hit others and I’m grateful we all took our vaccines.

. I wouldn’t send my kids to school until vaccine was available for them . They got vaxxed .
They caught covid around New Years . I thought it was just the flu . They missed about two weeks of school. My pops and me never caught it or we were asymptomatic. I was even sharing drinks with them and didn’t catch it .
Schools here in Cali sent home test kits for each student last week.

Lemme go ahead and add to this. My mother was a custodian up until 2 months ago (she retired to stay home with my niece that got in that accident) She worked at an elementary school. Not only did they make her sign multiple NDA’s about Covid catching.. kids weren’t even told to stay home if they tested positive. Wanna know why? Because the more kids that stayed home and didn’t attend face to face.. the more money that school would lose from the state (Desantis) This state is fukked up. Period.
