More often than not I tend to take that L.
As much of yall know. I am a transplant to florida. Grew up in the northeast. Piffsburgh to be exact.
When i moved down south as a adult of course there was some differences. Much of them i documented in various stories. They usually involved me somehow getting sonned in hilarious ways
Well i ran into something i never ran into and wanted to run it by my southern brehs and brettas.
Met this girl. She is around my age. Has no kids which is fukking rare.
is a Lpn. Owns her own home..etc. Parents are still together.. all in all a nice girl.
Couple of red flags:
1. She has a tendancy to say "Look" in every convo. Its actually annoying. For example. She will say " so i was at work and..LOOK. that chick tried me....
Or. I was at the cookout and those greens!! LOOK. .Those greens were so juicy.
Not a deal breaker. But she says Look on EVERY sentence. Its strange.
2. She has no children herself. But adopted a autistic child. I commend her for being willing to step up and be a mom. But i can see why she is single. Her daughter is non verbal and pretty combative. She consumes her life. Cant see where a guy would fit in honestly.
plus.... its ALOT.
3. This is the real reason i started this thread..we got to talking about middle names. I told her that i did not have one until i was 11. Asked my mom about my middle name. She said what do u want it to be? Told her i wanted it to be my best brehs name. Poof. Moms went downtown and got it changed.
Her middle name she told is Lil Trina. I was
Oh. You mean Katrina? Ok. . She said naw. Lil Trina.. then she spelled it out.
I said...Lil? Like Lil Wayne?? And who is Big Trina? If you are Little... there is no Big Trina. Her middle name is not Katrina. Its Lil Trina.
I am like hold up hold up
. So. On your birth certificate. It says Lil Trina?
By now she is acting all stank cause everytime i say the name i am lauging. I think she is fukking with me!
She then says ita common down south for people to have their actual names have a "Lil" in front of them. I have NEVER heard of that outside of rappers. What say yall?
I have already thrown her in the bushes.
