Joel Berry, a PG from Florida is real nice. Can score the pill and is real poised as a player. I think he's won like 3 straight State titles and won Florida's Gatorade POY award for 2 or 3 straight years. I anticipate him gobbling up Nasty Nate's minutes because he's a scoring threat unlike Nate. Justin Jackson has the best floater I've seen out of a high schooler (a weird thing to say but it's true). But since he's home schooled, I'm kinda iffy on the competition he's faced. I like his game but he's a little thin in the pants so I expect him to get very few minutes next year ala Hicks this year. Theo Pinson is in the mode of Jackie Manual where he doesn't mind dedicating a whole game to just playing defense. He's a much better scorer than Jackie and a proven winner. He put his high school team on his back and won a state title this year with their best player, Harry Giles (who's fighting for #1 player in the country status when he comes out) sitting out with an injury. With that said, I'm a little disappointed that Roy couldn't close a SG. I truly expected Rashad Vaughn to sign and that really stings. We can't spend another year with a 6' 170 lb SG (Paige) so I think we'll be at the mercy of how healthy he is again next year. The only saving grace is that this team will be a year older. Brice will be a legit scoring threat and based off what I saw in high school, once the game slows down for him, Hicks will ne nice too. JP will have a breakout year next year. If Roy doesn't have a brain freeze like he did when it took him until late December to give Kendall Marshall Larry Drew's minutes, we should see a lineup of Paige, JP, JMM, Brice, Meeks to start and a "small unit" of Berry, Paige, JP, JMM, Brice with Nate, Pinson, and Justin Jackson sprinkled in.
