This is a list of celebrities who have been caught being racist. The following famous people landed in hot water after making a racial or anti-Semitic slur, posted a stereotypical photo, or Tweeted negative comments about a race other than their own. The gallery below doesn't necessarily include racist celebs or notorious bigots, but mostly well-known stars of film, TV, and sports who have caused controversy because they didn't use a filter to prevent themselves from offending other people. Whether they were joking or not at the time, there is nothing funny about the hurtful words, offensive pictures, or tasteless Twitter posts that almost cost these celebs their careers. For some, like former leading man and acclaimed filmmaker Mel Gibson or culinary legend Paula Deen, making racist remarks have truly ruined their reputation.
10-Paris Hilton

It’s uncertain exactly when hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton actually uttered the N-word. But in February 2007, video of Hilton with sister, Nicky, was posted on You Tube. In the footage, “The Simple Life” star says to her sibling that “we’re like two n____rs” as they dance to rap song “Hypnotize” by Notorious B.I.G. On the tape, Hilton also uses slurs for gays and Asians and mentions a woman’s Jewish heritage disparagingly. Although this wasn’t the first time Hilton had been overheard using the N-word, the public quickly forgave her for the transgression. Why? Perhaps because the public never had high expectations for Hilton in the first place. She’s largely known for being a ditz and making a sex tape.

9-Dr. Laura Schlessinger

Radio show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger dug her own grave in August 2010 when she uttered the N-word a reported 11 times during an exchange with a black woman who called for advice about an interracial relationship. Rather than give the woman advice, Schlessinger promptly dubbed the caller “hypersensitive” and went on to declare that she finds it hilarious that there are more complaints about racism than ever, given that we have a black president. During the call, Schlessinger also criticized black leaders and suggested that only people with a sense of humor need enter interracial marriages. Time will tell how the court of public opinion ultimately judges Schlessinger. At present, she’s in the throes of a public backlash.

Oh by the way, she has naked pictures. Check out my nude celebs thread if you want to see them!!!

8-John Wayne

During a 1971 interview with Playboy, the legendary actor was quoted as saying,
I believe in white supremacy until the blacks are educated to a point of responsibility. I don’t believe in giving authority and positions of leadership and judgment to irresponsible people.” Challenged, if he were equipped to judge “which blacks are irresponsible and which of their leaders inexperienced,” he replied: “It’s not my judgment.

7- Duane “Dog” Chapman

What made Duane Chapman, star of reality show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” say the N-word? Apparently, Chapman objected to his son Tucker’s relationship with a black woman named Monique Shinnery. Expressing his disapproval of the romance, Chapman littered his speech with the racial epithet. The problem for Chapman, though, is that the National Enquirer obtained a tape of him spewing the N-word, making his bigoted views known to the world. Evidently, Tucker himself was responsible for selling the incendiary tape to the tabloid. Due to the controversy, Chapman apologized for his offensive language, and cable network A&E suspended his reality show for a spell. Now, the show has been back on the air for years and remains a viewer favorite.

6-Ted Danson

Danson appeared in blackface at a 1993 Friar's Club comedy roast in honor of his then-girlfriend Whoopi Goldberg. The actor made extensive use of racial stereotypes (including eating a watermelon) and used the "n" word more than a dozen times.

5-Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler has no filter when it comes to calling out celebs. Once she caught wind of Nick Cannon heading out on a comedy tour, she tweeted: "I just heard nick cannon is starting a comedy tour. Who's going to do the comedy?" The two engaged in a war of tweets, then Handler resorted to stereotyping Cannon by sending an image of a grape soda can with the message "@nickcannon pls drink this before you tweet me again." #Tasteless

4-Paula Deen

The butter-loving queen of Southern cooking practically lost her business empire and was fired by the Food Network after she was caught in the middle of a racially charged controversy in 2013. Deen admitted to using the "n" word and was accused by a former employee of racial harassment.

3-Michael Richards

During a 2006 performance at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, the former "Seinfeld" actor shouted racial slurs to black hecklers in the audience, used the "n" word several times, and even referred to lynching.

2-Mel Gibson

No one can forget Mel Gibson telling a policeman during his 2006 DUI arrest that "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." In 2010, several voicemails were released of the hot-headed actor and filmmaker going postal on his ex-wife Oksana Grigorieva. In one of his rants, Gibson wished that his ex got raped by a pack of the "n" word and in another, he referred to Mexicans as "wetbacks."

1-Eminem
eminem-400x400.jpg

In November 2003, The Source magazine leaked old tapes of rapper Eminem saying the N-word. On a 1993 recording, he reportedly raps, “All the girls I like to b@#e have big butts/ No they don’t, ‘cause I don’t like that n____er sh%t I'm just here to make a bigger hit.” And on a 1988 recording, Eminem refers to black women as money-hungry “dumb chicks.” Never one to back away from controversy, Eminem did in this case, blaming his words in the latter track on being young and immature and reacting foolishly to a breakup with an African American girl. He claims, however, to be unfamiliar with the first track. As a rap star, Eminem has never used the N-word in a song.

Mark Wahlberg:
-At fifteen, civil action was filed against Wahlberg for his involvement in two separate incidents of harassing African-American children (the first some siblings and the second a group of black school children on a field trip), by throwing rocks and shouting racial epithets.

-At 16, Wahlberg approached a middle-aged Vietnamese man on the street and, using a large wooden stick, knocked him unconscious while yelling a racial epithet. That same day, he also attacked another Vietnamese man, leaving the victim permanently blind in one eye

For these crimes, Wahlberg was charged with attempted murder, pleaded guilty to assault, and was sentenced to two years in state prison at Boston's Deer Island House of Correction. He served 45 days of his sentence.

The first incident occurred when Mark Wahlberg was 15 years old. He had already been hooked on cocaine and other drugs since the beginning of his teens. I imagine it is a time in a person's life when he is energetic and mischievous. Though, I have to wonder about the extremity of Mark's crimes at this age.

The assault occurred over a period of two days. Mark and his gang seemed a bit transfixed on attacking a group of black school children whom they stalked and attacked verbally and physically. On June 15, 1986 Mark and three other teenagers approached 12-year-old Jesse Coleman and his older brother and sister as they were walking home. The group chased the group of black school children on their bikes; one of the assailants told the children, "We don't like black ni--ers in the area so get the f--k away from the area!"

The group continued to chase the children on their mopeds, yelling, "Kill the ni--ers! Kill the ni--ers!" Each one of Mark's little gang threw rocks at their victims. By the time the children reached Burger King, Mark and the rest of the bullies turned and left; I'm assuming they didn't want their actions witnessed in a business area where they'd easily be spotted.

The next day, while Jesse Coleman was on a field trip to the beach with his class, Mark and his gang followed the group to the beach. As the group was returning from the field trip, Mark's group began yelling racial slurs at the children; Mark and his friends summoned more to join him and they threw rocks at the children, one hitting a black girl and another hitting a white girl. The teacher was able to get an ambulance there and the attackers ran away.

Nearly two years later, on April 8, 1988, Mark decided to turn his hatred towards Asians. Thanh Lam, while carrying two cases of beer from his car to his home, was struck by a large wooden stick wielded by Mark Wahlberg; Mark, at this time, called Thanh a "Vietnam fu--ing sh-t!" The blow knocked the man out.

Mark and two others left the scene. Mark then ran into another Vietnamese man named Hoa Trinh; at first asking the man for help in hiding from the police, when police came along, Wahlberg punched the man in the eye, knocking him to the ground; Trinh ended up losing that eye.

While in police custody, Mark continued to refer to "Slant-eyed g--ks" and other such slurs.

All of this is a matter of public record and Wahlberg admits to these incidents openly. For the last crime, Wahlberg was sentenced to two years in prison, but served 45 days and was released.
