Ok all bare with me and let you know what you think.

So first of all its been widely known that Gilbert has been thinking about selling the team, which would be smart since he only paid 340ish million, it will be a huge come up.

Second of all, its also known that Gilbert and Lebron aren't exactly best of friends.

So here is my thinking, do you think Lebron is pissed (rightfully so) that Gilbert is going to CASH out simply because of Lebron being there? Now I am not insinuating that Lebron is throwing games, but I am just saying hes operating at more of a minimum making this crash around him. He is surrounded by bums and knows it, even Lebron at 110% doesn't make this a very good team, the IT deal was terrible, he was very overrated even before the injury, his +/- was garbage on Boston who had a good defense so that tells you how his defense is, regardless how many game winners or pts in the 4th hes getting, other guards roast him. The team is filled with old specialists that are not that great at their own specialty anymore. JR, TT, Korver, Shump, Rose are all trash, they are lucky Wade is having a very good year.

I think Lebron can still put up great numbers, but tune it down a bit in other areas, even he has looked like trash on defense, and if he tries to help another shytty defender his own guy burns him, its a lose lose in his scenario.

Here comes the ultimate mind fukk, Lebron likes to stay east cause you can skate to the finals much easier than the west, and going west doesn't exactly hurt Gilbert he would prefer it. What if Lebron said fukk you to Gilbert and stayed in the east at a discount (Say Boston?) How much value does the cleveland franchise drop if you have the current team minus Lebron? This current Cavs team minus lebron is a bottom 3 team (in the NBA)

Something is gonna happen soon, Lebron looks like a fool right now and he controls his own destiny, I don't see him staying there, there is no one they can add to make them compete, they need a total overhaul and I dont think Lebron wants to be part of that, and with the greatness and minutes he has played his career he finally deserves to do whatever he wants at this point.

People are making this WAY more complicated than it is.

* This is a team that has been one of the top-two teams in the game for three straight years, led by a player who has competed for a title for seven straight years.

* Now they're not competitive at the highest level anymore.

* They tossed away their GM, dumped their #2 player for a package that doesn't help them this year, and their #1 player isn't signed for next year.

* They've had four starters (Rose, IT, Love, TT) miss significant time with injury

* And their owner could have made moves to make them more competitive, but chose not to.

None of those points is in doubt, none of it requires a conspiracy theory, none of it requires you to hate anyone or stan anyone or shyt on anyone. It's all just basic facts. And it's enough by itself to explain what's going on just fine.

Not really a conspiracy theory, I am just looking at your bullet points, which I agree with and feel like Lebron is extremely frustrated with the franchise as a whole, and it sounds like Gilbert is as well. Owner is annoying, Owner talked public shyt about you, Owner made terrible moves (lebron gets the blame for it), Why should lebron give 110% with a bunch of bums hanging on for dear life? I hated how he left the first time, but now I am at a point where I really hope he does leave.
