Pretty interesting take

I think with the internet certain clothing trends aren't as regional as they once were but there are still little nuances people pick up on (like wearing Foams in the UK). I see little things that have picked up steam here in the states over the past few years that I always associated with UK style like football kits and training pants. I randomly started seeing heads wearing Stoney here but I think it's still in the very early phase that anyone wearing it knows it's a London thing.
Yeah I noticed this as well, in recent years I've seen a lot of rappers rocking Arsenal/Man United/PSG/Real shirts. In fact I always find it weird when I see Americans rocking nike tracksuits/joggers....for the reason that traditionally it's been the way we've dressed out here since decades ago. I think with the internet people stateside are able to see how young black people over here dress and what not, and because of that it may (or may not) be a case of you guys taking influence. Same way we used to take influence as well, leather Avirex jackets used to be HUGE out here in the early 2000's....I thought that was a UK thing until I got exposed to Hip Hop and saw you guys were rocking them from early, but it was obvious we took influence. In fact heres a video you might find interesting...
edit: not sure why the video isn't showing i pasted the link as normal
This is from 1993 in Leeds (a city in the northern part of England) as you can see the way they're dressed is damn near identical, so we've always been influenced by American street wear to a certain extent. I just think now the way we dress is also an influence to you guys across the pond.
But like the homie
@Kitsch said, it's more of a style thing than brands. When the whole xxxxxl white tee and jeans thing was standard street wear in America, that was a big no no over hear...people would just get clowned and accused of begging it if they wore anything above an L.
