my worst semester ever in college

I tried the going to work during school thing(just on weekends) and also moved back home from campus. I was feeling out of my element but still had things under control until finals. I got a c 2ds and a f and thats coming down from a 3.0 last semester. can anybody relate to this im thinking i shoudl def go seasonal on my job or maybe quit and...idk its just depressing to think i failed a class(first time ever)

Believe me i've done the whole school and work thing, and it DOESN'T work...

If you want to maximize your potential, school IS the full time job.

Obviously, most people work cause they have too... But if you just working to buy shyt you can do without e.g. J's, spending money on night out etc, then you need to cut that shyt out and quit your job.

information systems and i know i could have done well this semester. but its just something about not being as close to campus that makes me feel more disconnected I got used to it towards the end though. and the working on weekends took away so much valuable study time especially during finals and i work at movie theater so whenever a midnight would hit on thursday night i would be stuck working not hard but time consuming

Be strong breh It Took me 6 years for a 4 year course. Now I am a qualified CA or CFA in American terms I think.

I might be heading to same amount of time i am retaking my f in the summer though along with one of those d classes. if you dont mind sharing what was the worst you ever did in a semester?

My last semester in college I was taking 21 credits (7 classes) and working Thursday-Sunday) Unfortunately I had to completely sacrifice my social life dedicating all extra time to studying... I suggest you do the same in the future

I had 4 majors in 2003 I failed 2 but it was enough to get a degree so I change my university. Two years later having repeated the the 2 courses I passed I got my honours degree.

try to get the course changes to incompletes and try to re-exam some test or repeat the course

i know i did shytty in chem and math. on top of that a nikka got school probation for weed the police COULDNT FIND. ready for next semester tho i got my head up. OH and fukk UAB POLICE

same here. went ahead and started working full time while going to school at night. it's been 2 months since ive been to class. after working all day, the first thing i wanna do is go to bed. fukk school. i do need to get my shyt together cause this would of been my last semester and i would of been done with school.

While, as a fellow perfectionist as it relates to grades, your grades give me the face, keep your chin up. Its doable, you just have to know to study efficiently. Though, to be honest, its VERY Hard to do full time work and full time school. I took 7 credit hours this semester in very high level STEM courses and I have a full time job. Its hard if your goal is to pull out straight A's, easier if you just want to pass. I managed to get straight As this semester after pretty much giving up my weekends and spending quite a few hours everyday after work to study.

I would say, if you can afford it, if the full time work is interfering with your studies, drop it immediately and do seasonal work as you mentioned. Got to prioritize.
