Was talkin to my cousin about this the other day. Memphis just seem more volatile and don’t got the unity or size that ATL has. They poached the crunk sound which evolved into Trap and then took the fast flow style that Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, and to a lesser extent Playa Fly made famous.
Just shows how remarkable New Orleans is as a Hip Hop city.
