This is crazy. On the death anniversary of Notorious B.I.G. on March 9th, his close friend N.O.R.E spoke to Radio.com and narrated an untold story about him.
In the Notorious biopic, theres a scene where Biggie makes several calls to his loved ones. Noreaga reveals that one of those calls was made to him, although that didnt appear in the movie. But thats not it. He says that during the call, Biggie played Capone-N-Noreagas song T.O.N.Y. (Top of New York) which was not released at that time, which left him surprised. Biggie later told him that he was sitting next to the songs producer Nasheem Myrick and thats how he gained access to the recording.
The only part that made me cry was when he was making those phone calls. I was one of those phone calls. I wasnt honored that Big called me playing T.O.N.Y., I was like How the f*** you get that? Im thinking its bootlegged. Big Took like five minutes before he answered.
B.I.G. then dropped a bomb.
He was like, Im getting on the remix, As soon as I get back to New York, Im bodying that. Dont tell no one I dont want nobody to know. Im thinking Im gonna have the biggest record out.
Its unfortunate that he never made it to New York to finish the remix as he was shot by an unknown man on March 9, 1997 at around 12:45 am in Los Angeles. Rest in peace.

@ anyone believing that shyt.
i liked tony but blood money to me represented the gritiness of that album more than any track....biggie would have gave us a classic either way
