Fun fact.

Payroll records here in sunny NC was the early home of N Tyce aka MC Spice and Ski Beatz aka Will Ski.

The label had some very decent material and a couple of them went on to national fame.

Ski was a mainly a rapper during the early years. I battled him in front of his house on my same street about three blocks from where I am right now.

Never battled N Tyce but I remember telling her I was the best one night at the Burger King by A and T (which is no longer there, but it was THE SPOT).

Hush hush tip / rootbeer float single on wild pitch was produced by 4th disciple (rza listed as well). This was EARLY in the run, obscure small feature like scientifiks “as long as you knoe” prod by rza.

Also, this classic. Shoulda been on decks album instesd of venoms album

I loved this chick. Sure ya Right was on BET daily. During the day and afternoon when it dropped. Then the remix dropped and was in the HBO film Soldier Boyz starring Michael Dudikoff, Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat Movie, Tyrin turner, and Hector from Friday. I thought her career was going to blow up. I still have that "sura ya right" 12"

Salute to N-Tyce straight from my hometown G-Boro NC/336! Something made me think about this chick randomly the other day. Crazy to see this thread. these videos posted here remind me of back in the days watching Spot TV. Shout out to Skibo, CMP Live, Waleed Coyote, Taha Nation and everybody that was active in the boro hiphop scene in the 90s and 200s
