I actually had some First Republic Bank stock. Now it's penny stock.
My first ever stock I purchased was 100 shares of Punch TV. Black owned. Dude was a straight fraud. The SEC filed a lawsuit against this azzhole.

More often than not I tend to take that L.
Years ago when I had my first apartment ever. I was in the Navy. I had a roommate. I went away on a 6 month cruise. While I was gone I had an allotment set up to send to my roommate for my share of the rent.
Flat out the the rent was barely getting paid.
Matter of fact the only reason we were not evicted months ago is because the apartments knew I was in the military and they knew I was HAD to pay. So when I came back in town I was heated but I had extra cash on me to catch it all up.
I go to the rental office and they assumed that I did not have all the cash. They told me they are working with a new rental assistance company that may be able to help me. They gave me a flyer that was in the office.
Looking back it now it’s obvious it was a scam. But being 21 and my first apartment I had no clue. It said to send in my application. I did and they approved me and said they would cover two months worth of rent. All I had to do was pay a 300 application fee.
I’m thinking great! I can keep that extra cash I was going to use to catch up to the rent in my pocket. I also thought it was legit because the rental office gave me the fukking flyer
I send in my 300 bucks. I figured I am done. I get a call from my Command like two days later and they are going the fukk off. Calling me a Shipwreck and all kinds of shyt. Asking why I am not paying my bills. I am

and act like they have no idea of what I was talking about. All of the flyers from the fictional company are now gone from the office. I pull out my copy of the flyer and they said they are not affiliated with any outside company
