This thread is aimed at folks who wear name brands. If you dont, cool. This thread aint for you. So me and niece got into a debate about Champion and Nike. She said you cant mix name brands ((i.e. champion top, nike bottom for example.) Her flaw in that of course is nobody wear Champion shoes. Or Ralph Lauren and Nike at the same time (I did this once and was roasted at school EDIT, it was nautica and ralph lauren). So in general do you mix brands if the colors match. Or just stick with one brand with a fit.

No but then again I don’t wear shoes by the same company as my clothes. I have one Adidas shirt that goes with a pair of adidas shoes I have but that’s it

Yah but you gotta know the right way to do it imo. I’ll wear Adidas pants, sneakers and throw on a Gucci purse to dress it up.

Op, you got roasted for wearing Polo with some Jordans? Idont believe that.

Athletic wear doesn't look right is their mismatch name brands, Like I do feel if you're wearing Nike sneakers, then wear some Nike shorts. probably a Nike top as well if it's a name brand, otherwise just a plain athletic shirt.

As for dress, I'll rock my Polo shirts with some Levis easily. That's a timeless match.

A Ralph Lauren polo shirt and some Airmax was standard freshness when I was in HS. I wear Timbs and polo alot... This thread is weird

Edit...
Now when you wear different "high fashion" brands with bold monograms or logos, it looks tacky. Like a Gucci polo and a Fendi belt or something.

New Yawk where I’m from / Bahston where I’m at
Mixing brands is the wave in some specific ways - people wear nike hoodies and kicks with adidas pants all the time. Not everyone walking around like run dmc (some do).

Outside this I usually keep it consistent outside the hat and kicks.

EDIT I guess what I’m saying is mixing is ok when it looks intentional. Still wouldn’t mix champion with Nike clothes.
