Do you know how rich rappers would be if streaming was as status quo like you're saying back then as it is now? Streaming wasn't even discussed in the late 2000s - early 2010s. Numbers on a chart is everything to the media, influencers, kids, etc nowadays but we didn't care about that shyt. How much sold, physical or digital, does not dictate if a song is a hit or not--the people do. I'm guessing "Dreams and Nightmares" and "B.A.R." aren't hits either?
