I never understood this and also calling others old or washed up because it never looks good in the long run. Very few rappers stay "hot" for a long period of time and father time is undefeated. Good examples is 50 bragging about record sales and a few years later he was dumped by Interscope and putting out flops and Dipset calling other rappers old and washed up and look how most them nikkas look now and most their records they drop nowadays are mediocre.

Eventually it comes back and bites the artist in the end. That's why he should've just kept it about the music and not sales, that goes for all artists. Consistency is key. Keep putting out product for the fans and they will follow.
