Most average starting centers today are asked to cover more ground defensively than like.... any other point in the NBA's history. Your typical bottom 90% center in the NBA from the 90s would be in the bushes today on foot speed alone. Erick Dampier got PAID ffs

if anything, guards would be running shyt. Moochie Norris would take the Knicks to the playoffs :wow:

A lot of those centers would get embarrassed in PnR defenses or when switched into guards.

Nah bruh :stop:

Who are these centers you have to cover, Bogut?
Soft ass Tim Duncan puts in work these days :stopitslime:
What other center we gotta "worry" about?

On the flip side who shuts down shaq? Who in the league today guards Ewing, name 1
Rick Smits was a Brook Lopez type with a consistent jumper, there is no center today even consistent with a jay... not on that level
This thread is about the lesser players tho so... Eldon Campbell >>> Tristan Thompson

Offensively... whatever :manny:

Defensively? Centers today are asked to be able to hop out as far as the 3pt line and still be able to get back to defend the rim. Centers in the 90s were never asked to do that. Its just fact.
Its also why I said the bottom 90% :francis: nobody is dealing with the Shaqs. Duh. Thankfully, there is only fukking one in history. :francis:

Blake Griffin is pretty much Jason Caffey 2.0.
Yooooo lol them dudes basically got the exact same body type. I thought Caffey would be str8 bullyin nikkaz:mjlol:

Bulls were TERRIBLE at drafting players back then. I think it was purposely too. They always been cheap as fukk. Probably picked busts so they wouldnt have to pay them much come contract time
