Name the worst stretches at attempted rhyming of words that don't really rhyme

For some reason this stretch annoyed the fuk outta me. It's MAGNETS

this don't even rhyme in order for slant rhyming to work

Mos Def broke it down very well, rap is definitely more about the prosody then the rhyming.

Put in another way: you can get away without rhyming if your flow is rhythmically pleasing, you can't get away without flow if your rhymes are pleasing (it will sound bad because we're listening for the musical qualities before the lyrical qualities, it could still work on paper).

You can definitely make raps that are musically/rhythmically pleasing to the ear that don't rhyme at all. You can rap like verbal percussion. Mos Def proves this in his video.

Poetry doesn't have to rhyme, and neither does rap sometimes. If it sounds good and works...then it sounds good and works.

Why don't people understand that if something is dope and breaks the rules, it's still dope? It's not automatically lazy or unskilled, you don't make the rules.

Camp Lo rhymed...it's just that it wasn't in what u would consider standard or usual format...but they pulled it off so effortlessly...

His verse on money to blow always sticks out to me



The bold always makes me cringe, Spider and Diamond do not rhyme by any stretch of your imagination.
