I mean awesome things that were new to gaming
So check my examples that should give you an idea what I mean

1) That over the shoulder view from ghost recon I think 2
2) In Gears of War when you could double tap A and you would slide against a wall for cover
3) Gears Of War, Horde Mode... Damnnnnn when that got introduced, damn those were the dayssssss, endless hours of online gaming, so much shyt talking against other players hahahha
4) Obviously multiplayer, almost forgot that

Triple Six Mile
-Square layering gameplay over full motion video for cinematic effect, ie FF VII/VIII/IX, which eventually became what @Cycloneon mentioned.

26:19 mark and beyond.

That shyt was genius.

Urban Chaos

-First game with a Black protagonist
-First open world game where you can leave your vehicle(they give Driver 2 credit for the latter, but UC came out a year earlier)

LA Noir - Face animations
NBA Live 06 (Xbox 360) - More simulation styled basketball (or sports in general). Slower but more realistic.
Telltale's The Walking Dead - Choices that effect where the story will go (even though it was bs lol), and on the spot choices. Also seeing what others chose at the end.

Grand Theft Auto IV - More lifelike environments/worlds with better graphics. Also two different endings.
God Of War - No load screens/ Continuous shot
The Last of Us pt. II - Lifelike animations that transitions smoothly
Astro's Playroom - Dualsense controller :wow:

*The last three will be seen/used more this gen Especially for Sony Exclusives.

Rainbow Six 3 AI Teammates Audio through the headset, was so dope, I thought all new games were going to have this. I thought instead of hearing Cortana on the TV speakers, you would hear on your headset in Halo.
