There is nothing wrong with the Democratic Party Superdelegate system. Just because a bunch of paranoid Bernie stans have a persecution complex and are looking for a ready made excuse for why Bernie won't win the Dem primary is no reason for the Dem Party to change their rules. There is nothing unique about this primary
The super delegate system is stupid. Regardless of Sanders stans.

A superdelegate is no different from a "regular" delegate...so if your problem is delegates, just say so.
No super delegates are party leaders and establishment types that as individuals get to vote however they see fit and have that vote counted as an actual delegate vote.

It's clear the super delegates exist as a safety net so that if a close primary is had they can protect the will of the establishment. Before this thing even really got started hundreds of them were coming out for Hillary.

Now the thing is they can change their mind up until the convention but regular delegates vote they way the people decide in the primaries. Superdelegates vote however they feel.

You know the superdelegate system is bullshyt when Reince Priebus is even taking shots at the Dems for having it and you see how ape shyt his party is over Trump.

what was her reason for making the comments in 2008 do you know? and i'm seriously asking because i dont remember why she said it in 08.
It was in response to the rumblings from the more strident Clinton supporters who were calling for the Superdelegates who had supported Hillary early on in the campaign to not support Obama even if he won the pledged delegate count.

stop lying.

The manner in which the DNC came out the box riding for hillary to the point where they were scheduling debates so bern wouldnt get any prime time until he started complaining about it. that has never been done before. not even durin the obeezy days in 08 vs hill.

all this bogus media coverage pushing hill totals adding the super delegates trying to fool the sheeple into saying "oh well i guess its over." when its not over yet.

yeah. its different. They are afraid of bernie. They being DEMS. They are not afraid he will lose to trump. lol at people acting like bernie is jeb bush. lol. bernie aint no punk. but he has serious lefty views especially for this era for dems that are all pretty much corporatists.
What am I lying about? There is nothing unique about this primary that would make the Superdelegates go against the will of the voter. And that was what my post was about. Bernie supporters are just paranoid as fukk and seeing a conspiracy where there is none as far as the Superdelegates are concerned.

The idea for it isn't really that bad...it allows the party to protect itself from being represented by someone who really doesn't reflect the party all that well and since it is a Party system I can understand them having something in place to serve as an emergency meassure.
I bet the Republican Party would love to have a Superdelegate system in place right about now.

Yeah, but ultimately, if you vote against who the people want, you damage your party. If the republicans were to take the election away from Trump right now then it would be a disaster and every superdelegate that did that would have a challenger in their primary.

Thats the risk you take but I think a lot of people don't realize that this is party politics and in a primary the party makes the rules. If you don't like them then don't be a Democrat.:manny:
