The average liter of bottled water has nearly a quarter million invisible pieces of ever so tiny nanoplastics, detected and categorized for the first time by a...

Nanoplastics haven't been proven to be harmful, I read an article that said they might be too small to create an immune response.
Then go ahead and inject yourself with em if you love it so much.
That study was based off ONE Liter of bottled water.
Ya let's wait until it's completely proven that billions of nanoplastics in our system can cause issues.

If you didn't know cancer is skyrocketing, nobody knows why.
If there life ending diseases that are increasing do you not think you shouldn't wait until it's fukkin proven for something that should be self-evident like hey how about NOT having billions of billions of nanoplastics in our system??????

This needs to be dealth with immediately and globally!!!!!!!!!!
It also has been proven that there's nanoparticles straight from the source as well, meaning even after passing your city's drinking water filtration system.

Humanbeings are retards, we're just going to keep overusing plastics and pay no attention to articles like this.

Sooner we wipe ourselves out the sooner the earth can breathe again.

Scientists said the same about lead, until they learned otherwise.
Scientists said the same about asbestos, until they learned otherwise.
Scientists said the same about nicotine, until they learned otherwise.

They very article you linked states "The science is unsettled, but researchers say there is cause for concern"...they're hedging their bets, as usual.

Point being, if you're rolling those dice you're better off coming down on the side of prudence, well before the long-term effects are confirmed down the line. Plastics in your lungs cannot possibly end well.

My point is this is unavoidable, these particles are too small to filter out of the environment.
