Why would they do it to Silver when he literally acts like he works for the players and not the owners?
The second apron and the 65 game threshold are like the only real setbacks nba players had in decades. The former being major. And no fan has complained about it as things were getting out of hand

She said at the beginning of her speech, Her speech wasn't about wins or losses.
Edit: Speaking hyperbole, I'm sure at some point of the season she would have made this type of speech, mainly because she has her own league that she funded (Unrivaled) and she seeing a very uneven balance in officiating between the WNBA and the league she (CO) started.
As far as an argument about WNBA players getting paid a certain amount of income, I strongly believe that's a dead horse that's been dead for a while and it needs to stop getting beat.
