Ehhhh. They were better rappers but did NOT make better music than Junior Mafia. Come on fam what are we doing.

I been hating on Dipset since the early 00s and you putting me in position to defend JIMMY. No, the Outlawz did not have more success than Jimmy who had a hit single. The Outlawz "success" was dependent entirely on Pac. Nobody can even name a record or song they dropped afterwards. Flip side you know who dropped multiple noteworthy songs after the death of their ring leader? Junior Mafia members, specifically Kim lol.

This is true.

Junior Mafia was B.I.G.'s pet-project to help his people from around the way. Which is why he was writing for 1/2 of them. He was trying to look out for them. They were literally kids he was trying to get off the street. They weren't MC's, but he had them making good music though. Classics. Which was the whole point of the idea.

nikka outside of Kim who TF was dropping dope shyt in Junior Mafia? Ur average person can't even name the members. Baby Don't Cry is an Outlawz song that was popular and dropped after Pac died like 4 years after. Like I said. They have a Plat album. Jimmy doesnt. They are musically more successful. Jimmy is makes better music. No question. Junior Mafia is a joke outside of Lil Kim.

Same for Outlawz. They were kids as well. But they were better than Junior Mafia. And them muthafukkas only got one album and their classic records featured Biggie the same way Outlawz classic records featured Pac.

Outlawz was actually rappers though. Before they even knew Pac.

Junior Mafia wasn't doing sh*t but stealing chips from the store and sitting on stoops before BIG came to get them. They didn't even want to do the album, he said. That whole project was just a way for them to make a couple dollars and be good away from the street sh*t. Outlawz was still trying to do music sh*t damn near 30 years after losing Pac. There's a difference there, lol.

Bro 3 of them nikkas was Pac's family members. Khadafi, EDI, and Castro. He plucked Napoleon out the hood cause of his hard life and he was cool wit Khadafi. Fatal was the main nikka who had a name wit the rap shyt before he met Pac. Bottom line. nikkas can actually quote Outlawz verses. "Get out the way yo, get out the way yo..." Finish it. Lol. Saying Junior Mafia got classic records while trying to dismiss Outlawz is wild work. Meanwhile Outlawz is featured on far more classic records than any Junior Mafia member not named Lil Kim. Kendrick literally just flipped a 2Pac/Outlawz song on GNX.

You're comparing two different kinds of sets though.

Outlawz was rapping. JM wasn't. Everything else after that is just opinions. The point is, JM was just a bunch of random dudes who didn't rap that BIG knew and wanted to help. Outlawz wanted to get in the game and be rappers. After Pac died, they still kept going for decades. Because with Pac or not, this is what they wanted to do. JM didn't. BIG made them rap to help them.

Kim was the only one that actually had this as a goal. Everybody else quit rapping 15 mins after BIG died. The Outlawz never quit. That's the point.

Nah I feel u. I'm speaking on the people acting like Outlawz wasn't shyt and scoffing and acting like Junior Mafia got more classic records than Outlawz. That's shyt is just a flat out lie. U can't just list Lil Kim shyt and then act like she was the entire Junior Mafia. That shyt ain't it. Like I said before. Kendrick just flipped a 2Pac/Outlawz joint on GNX.

Yeah, I get that.

I'm just talking about who was actually rappers and who wasn't, lol. I copped the JM album when I was a kid because I wanted to hear more B.I.G.. That was the motivation. With the Outlawz, the only one I really f*cked with solo, was Fatal. I really felt like dude could've made some moves after Pac passed. I don’t know what it was, but he couldn't take off even though he was mad active.

This verse was at the least partially inspired by the Young Noble diss. Nas may let disrespect from a dude like 21 Savage go by without it really bothering him but if you come with the disrespect and ur from his era it's like it gets his blood flowing lol he always answers it in some way. Ali Vegas did a interview with Doggie Diamonds a few years ago right before the Magic album. Nas addressed it in his own way on Wu for the Children. He actually heard that interview and responded to Ali Vegas of all people in 2022 lol

Outlawz was better than Junior Mafia. All them nikkas wrote their rhymes. Them Junior Mafia nikkas was barely even rappers.
They had Kim though Gz.

And not for nothing, but Cease had a little spark too, his album was lowkey alright, he had some jawns on the radio (album cover was ridiculous tho, lol). Didn’t the Jr Mafia album almost go platinum or I’m buggin? They had hit records.

🤷🏽‍♂️ they had writers though, no doubt…I just mean Jr Mafia saw a lot more success that wasn’t just Big’s than the Outlawz with Pac.

Lil Kim ain't Junior Mafia. All their hit singles has who? Biggie and Kim. Them other nikkas wasn't even on the joints that popped off. Ok the other hand. Members of the Outlawz been dying since 96. Right after Pac died. The label got all fukked up. And they still managed to turn around and drop a platinum album. When u hear Junior Mafia. U hear Lil Kim and MAYBE Cease. When u hear Outlawz. U hear most them nikkas. To say Junior Mafia makes better music than Outlawz is wild af. Even if we count the shyt JM did with Biggie. If we count the shyt Outlawz did with Pac it ain't no comparison. Kendrick just flipped a Pac/Outlawz track for GNX.

Me Against The World(single)
Made nikkaz
Hail Mary
Hit Em Up
Bomb First
Baby Don't Cry
Secrets Of War
Trading War Stories
When We Ride

I mean man I can just keep going. Some of Pacs best tracks feature the Outlawz. @Piff Perkins Junior Mafia the group did NOT make better music than Outlawz. Lil Kim HERSELF ain't Junior Mafia as a whole.
