LOL@Raekwon saying it wasnt about jimmy

I'm not taking a guy who couldn't even take on joe budden one on one serious

I've never heard Nas say dusty but he decides to say that now when the jim thing just happened.
Put it like this. It's def about SOMEBODY. If it wasn't. He wouldn't be so pressed to have it removed from the Internet. I say it's Noble tho. It makes the most sense as to why he wouldn't want it out there.

Can we all just acknowledge Nasir Jones as a merciful King.

99% of rappers would've let the original verse stand. And let Jim stew in the hole he dug for himself.

A confused ass Jimmy trying to figure out how to unbox himself would've been hilarious to watch. Being asked the same damn question every podcast he goes...

He had you Jim. N he threw you back in the water...

This right here.

Just seems like out of respect, he doesn't want the joint growing legs since bro passed away. That would definitely make the most sense.

He knew it could be taken as a diss towards Jim. He didn't want Rae catching flack for it so he gave him another verse. Also, it's nothing for Nas to give him another verse cause it's releasing through Nas label

It's not about how it's taken. It's about the fact that it WAS for someone. Nas don't just talk like that in his rhymes on the regular which is why the verse shocked people in the first place. I don't understand why people acting like it's impossible for Nas to have responded to Noble. Outlawz ain't worthy of a response but Jim is? Noble disrespected Nas far worse than Jim.

The Young Noble disrespect in this thread is gross, and the fact that y'all don't understand why Nas would care about one of the Outlawz makes me think you haven't been paying attention to his music at all.
These nikkas wildin bro. And the fact that these nikkas don't understand that Nas damn near ALWAYS responds to disrespect one way or another in his music.
