Primo x nas

ain’t bout to drop the ball, like the way snoop x Dre did :whoo::ehh:

That’s all primo would have said to nasir:jbhmm:

Just gotta give em what they been wantin x waitin fo , no need to reinvent the wheel :manny:

Look at Dre x snoop ..:comeon:
seems like Primo & Nas are looking to give the fans what they want vs Dre & Snoop giving people something they didn't ask for. and I get it from a rebellious/artistic stand point, but its too late in the game to be throwing out left field material and reverse course later (see Common with Electric Circus - he dropped Be right after)

I hope breh goes on Drink Champs, Joe and Jada, the Melo podcast, Jim Jones podcast:wow:
He wouldn’t but the Jones podcast would be amazing to see, lol, that’d get hella views and attention too, fire. Everybody on there, including Jones, is a Nas stan. If he does any of these tho, it’ll probably be Kiss and Joe

Bro. Define My Name is literally the shell of a beat. The rhymes on Come Get Me by itself smokes Define My Name.

Nas was a better rapper in 99 so it wins by default. To me...I like the Come Get Me beat but that was around the time when you could tell a lot of Premo beats were starting to sound like the same couple tracks but with diminishing returns. At that time, Nas Is Like and Full Clip.

I listened to Define My Name again recently and like it more than I did initially. But it still feels like the beat is very basic, and the rhymes don't really do anything interesting. It's not a banger.

Define My Name beat is like the first half of a sentence. A call that never gets any response. Annoying as hell ass beat

Its so frustrating because literally all he had to do was switch up the chops on the 4 and 8 and the beat is immediately a million times better

And nas stans should lighten up about every comment (about production or otherwise) because on no other place on the net does nas get this kind of traction, and it's mostly positive.
There shall be no questioning of Nas EVER! If he announces a collab album with Nav and Jack Harlow tomorrow you shall accept it as the most brilliant move a rapper has ever made.

I feel like 2nd Childhood is the collab we know the least about. We've got so many behind the scenes stories on the Illmatic ones, I Gave You Power, etc. Even Come And Get Me has been talked about. But 2nd Childhood is a classic track that you don't hear much about, behind the scenes wise.
