Interesting that Nas mentioned feeling the need to deliver on KD3, not KD2. I think that's because KD3 is the only album that we knew about ahead of time. I don't know when they started working on it, but almost a year passed between Magic and KD3 so they had the most time to perfect it and make it sound special. These albums were getting knocked out quickly and we didn't know about them until they were announced. With KD3, there were a lot of expectations and each album was better than the last, so I know the pressure was on them in a way they didn't feel with other albums. Maybe Magic 3 had the same feeling, but KD3 definitely had the most pressure attached to it.
