The charisma Nas has definitely isn't the charisma suited to play Alpo. He isn't the rah rah type or over the top for the people. He could of pulled off Rich Porter though.

Let's be real, he couldn't have pulled none of them shyts off because he was a poor actor.

Best thing he probably coulda done is the undercover fed who was unconvincingly acting like a dealer, because unconvincingly acting was just right for him

Not everybody is going to be good at everything. Nas is not a good actor but as evidenced by his documentaries he’s a good director and of course he’s a God Tier writer. He’s also a good voice over narrator if you listen to the BBC podcast of Muhammad Ali Vs George Foreman in the Fight Of The Century reenactment.
