It's pure ignorance of a lot of both educated and non-educated people not only Nas.
Feminism is about having gender equality but then you have these fukkbirds twisting the definition, creating sub disinclines and on. If you're not a feminist there is something wrong with you. It's worse than not supporting equal rights among races since women are 50% of the worlds population.

Anything with an "ist" or "ism" on the end of it is more than likely too extreme...

No offense but reading books would help you change that opinion.
There are probably "-ism´s" describing everything that's worth thinking about that isn't science.

One of the broadest is probably humanism, which couldn't possibly be extreme in any way.


I still find it interesting that so few people actually know what feminism is, in countries with a generally well educated population it would be suicide for a president not to call himself pro feminism. In the US it probably would be suicide to call yourself a pro feminism cause people think you are supporting these radical, hairy, man-hating, twitter-statistics posting bytches. And the fact that we swear that we are liberals but have the exact same views as the shyttiest, most worthless, southern rednecks on points regarding equality (for homos and women).

As always most of the questionable things Nas says and does can be explained away, but I dont think he realizes in this day in age it almost hurts your image if you dont explain things. I dont think he's the weehead phony intelligent person that most make him out to be, because he does have a lot of moments either in rhyme or in interviews where he makes great points and has perspective.
But I think he needs to realize that era where he could be controversial and it was magnetically helping his hype and cred doesnt work anymore with this generation

I don't know a single educated woman who's against feminism. In fact I don't know a single woman who knows what feminism is who is against it nor
do I know a single man who is educated and knows what feminism is who is against it.

I don't know about the different radical sub disciplines, all the crazy people who claim they are a part of the movement and their proposed methods and on. I'm completely against most of those things and it's a sad thing that they are nearly kidnapping the whole idea of feminism. It's the equivalent of people equating the civil rights movements with a bunch of young black men shooting people. And claiming that the civil rights movement was about shooting white people.

What I do know is the basic thoughts and theories and everyone I know supports these, even though they know that those things are actually feminism.
Of course my parents have friends that are old, flabby, religious and sick who are still on that bs.
