If this album came out now, it would be seen as a classic and get a lot more acclaim than it did in 2008.

I always liked "Make the World Go Round," but I don't think he should have traded "Letter to the King" for it. I could see that song near the end of the album and it fits Untitled way better than LAX.

There are other songs that could have made the cut, but there are probably several reasons why they didn't ("Proclamation," "Who Are You," "Like Me"). As a concept album, it's definitely more focused than HHID and it has some of the most unique production Nas has rapped over. Can't imagine him making a song like "Sly Fox" at any other point in his career, but this was when he was in his most ambitious period.

Some albums dont need anniversaries. This is one of those albums

Prior to the Hit-Boy albums I viewed this album in the same vein as American Gangster; in the respect that it was bordering between great/excellent albums to on the brink of breaking through into the classic material territory cause they both had their moments.

I was listening to both of those albums in high school.
