NASCAR's Cup Series will have an unprecedented street race next July 2 on a course that includes Lake Shore Drive, Michigan Avenue and South Columbus Drive, where the start/finish line and pit road will be located directly in front of Buckingham Fountain.

As far as the Chicago street course, I can’t wait to see it. From what I understand about F1, it’s kind of hard to pass. NASCAR doesn’t have that issue so this should be good.

As far as the Chicago street course, I can’t wait to see it. From what I understand about F1, it’s kind of hard to pass. NASCAR doesn’t have that issue so this should be good.

Street courses are inherently difficult to pass no matter what you're driving.

Like WEC/IMSA, the difference between open wheel series is that NASCAR will be able to take more risk without completely destroying their cars.

It should be interesting. Road course ringers are going dominate though.
