Can someone explain to me what exactly Nash has done wrong?? We all know he can't play defense so what else?

Can someone explain to me what Nash has done RIGHT?

We're talking about the fact that Nash has contributed next to NOTHING to this team that is underachieving more than any team in sports history, ande has shirked all blame.

Nash is almost always the best shooter on the court yet is always passing up open shots to get an open shot for Antawn Jamison or Earl Clark or fukking Ron Artest. He's not running a decent offense, but the blame will go to D'Antoni or Kobe on that one. Obviously he's not playing any defense but he's also not putting ANY effort into it. Hell, he's even missing free throws at the end of games (Detroit).

Fact of the matter is Steve Nash is out here playing like Steve Blake.

I dont think you can you can downplay his defense to a what else,its a major issue why they have breakdowns inside all game long...

He also has been too hesitant to take shots and look for his own offense when the team struggles,instead trying to put the ball in Artests hands to make the plays that they need HIM to make...

Kupchak should be getting most of the blame for this,he should have had the forsight to see Nash was done and it was going to create alot of problems...

He should have went after Kyle Lowry which available for a draft pick you wound up giving away for Nash...

Lowry would be a huge upgrade on that team over Nash right now...

I was with you till this last part.....Steve Blake has NEVER been as bad as Nash has been.

But yeah, Nash passing up wide open shots when he's easily the best shooter on the Lakers is obscene. Folks in the media give him a pass (no pun) because they chalk it up to him being so concerned in playing the right way.

If Nash took as many shots at metta it would solve a lot (not all) of the Lakers problems.

I think Nash is afraid of taking more shots at this point in his career...Its easier for him to pass the ball and the games and team not be on his shoulders...He sticks to his 10-11 shots i dont think he wants more than that regardless if they are open or not...and not because he wants to distribute and get guys involved,i just dont think he wants to be the scapegoat for this team...Its easier to dump it down to Kobe and let him take 30 shots and miss 23 of them....

Nash isn't even taking between 10-11 shots, he's at 8.6 per game. Kobe's shot attempts have gone down significantly the past month, even when he was shooting more it was less shots than he was taking the previous season (despite him being way more efficient).

Kobe has actually be the only guy on this team to successfully adjust his game. The only thing Kobe is doing wrong is he still comes and goes on the defensive end.

I will say though that Nash and Kobe are playing off of each other beautifully at times. Their two man games at times is joy to watch. Damn shame though that Nash is setting better screens than Dwight is at this point.

Yes his shots were down because he had to play PG because the guy they brought in to do it isnt doing it properly...Sad but true this team became alot better when Kobe became the PG.
