I know plenty of people that leave the shoes at the door, It's not weird at all.

Matter fact it should be the norm.
To me, it’s weird, since it’s not something people I know usually ask. Seems more a tendency of germaphobes. Maybe it’s regional. I’m in New England.

To be fair some peoples floors aren't clean enough to be making you take your shoes off.. Couple of weeks ago I visited my neighbor and I took my shoes off because I saw everyone else did.. And even with my socks on I could feel crumbs and a bunch of other debris as I walked on the hardwood floor. It was nasty.

I'm in California

Anytime you visit someone here who lives in a nice house, there's a 50/50 chance you'll be asked to take your shoes off.

fukk that noise, that's a societal norm that should be adapted world wide. Them Asians will pull katanas out over someone not taking their shoes off, and I agree with their sentiments.

nikkas tracking oil, mud, and dogshyt all over their carpets talking about its weird to remove your shoes in the house.

:hhh:

That's why I don't like people in my home. You always have one disrespectful ass muh'fukka that don't want to follow rules!

I've only experienced this with one of my aunts but it was because her new place had a light colored carpet.

Nah, I've met both white and Hispanic people that take their shoes off at the door.

Being a filthy heathen has nothing to do with ethnicity.
Well , people aint monolithic .
Some make people take their shoes off , and others dont.

The beauty of society is that everybody is different :blessed:

Plus i rather walk with shoes on , than to walk barefoot or with socks on someone's dirty floor :hhh:
